"Discovering Aboim" is a "Pequena Rota" (PR) hiking trail that is 13 km long, focusing on the landscape and culture, and winds through the typical mountain villages of Figueiró do Monte, Barbeita de Baixo, Barbeita de Cima, and Mós, all of which are part of the parish of Aboim. Aboim is home to a wealth of natural and cultural treasures, a fact that immediately lends it ecological, scenic, and cultural significance.
