The tour is dedicated to the battle that took place here on April 6, 1384, in which D. Nuno Álvares Pereira defeated the Spanish army and established a new series of victories, alongside Aljubarrota, keeping the crown in Portuguese hands under King João I. The goal is to explore the site of the Battle of Atoleiros, passing through beautiful landscapes. It begins and ends at the Old Fronteira Railway Station, decorated with tiles depicting rural scenes from the Alentejo (1933), with the return route covering about half a kilometer along the old railway line itself .
