Located in the parish of Palmaz, the village of Vilarinho de S. Luís stands out for its distinctly rural landscape, where the granary takes center stage. This village, where the main economic activity has always been agriculture, is home to simple, modest, and friendly people.

Known as the “Route of the Granary,” along this route you can admire these fabulous rural structures, used for drying corn—essential for feeding livestock and making bread. These structures reflect the social status and wealth of their owners, and may be more or less elaborately crafted and maintained, built of stone or wood, with more or fewer ornaments.

This short route is 4.7 km long and has a low difficulty level, making it suitable for year-round hiking.
