The route begins next to the Parish Church of Alcofra. Deeply imbued with rural charm, the route winds through narrow alleys, old cobblestone streets, and stone-paved paths. Along the way, you can admire various points of interest, notably the Chapel of São Martinho and the Medieval Tower of Alcofra. On the banks of the Alcofra River, numerous engineering structures remain preserved—authentic relics of traditional architecture— where the irrigation channels, water mills, and an olive oil press spark curiosity.
