This route begins in the heart of the Serra do Caramulo, next to the Meruje Dam, a body of water of extraordinary beauty. In the surrounding landscape, imposing granite boulders of various sizes and shapes rise up, sparking our imagination. Along this route, you can admire various points of interest, notably the Lapa da Meruje Dolmen, the villages of Couto and Carvalhal de Vermilhas, and the vast oak grove that still stands here.
