Description
The trail begins in Carrazedo and heads toward Alimonde. The landscape is distinctly rural, dominated by meadows, chestnut groves, and small streams, with views of the Serra da Nogueira. Upon leaving Carrazedo, the route runs parallel to the PR4 toward the entrance to the Carrazedo Biodiversity Station. Shortly thereafter, the other route turns left toward Zoio, while this one continues straight ahead along a forest path that leads to the Roman road (Via Augusta or Via XVII). Near Alimonde , there is an old watermill, and after crossing the Ribeira de Alimonde via a small concrete bridge, you quickly reach the village.
Passing through the square before the church, the return route to Carrazedo follows Rua do Cabo, flanked by forest or riverbank areas.
