The trail begins in Carrazedo and heads toward Zoio. The first 700 meters follow the Carrazedo–Alimonde trail. Shortly past the start of the Carrazedo Biodiversity Station, the trails split, and this one heads toward Sítio da Pombeira, entering a black oak forest. You pass the Pombeira Forest House and, once out of the forest, follow farm roads to the village of Zoio. After visiting the village, head toward Martim, and upon reaching the Forest House, return to Carrazedo via a forest trail.
