Along the 14.3 kilometers of the PR6 Trail, the variety of flora and fauna is vast, and the beauty of the landscapes even greater. It is along this short stretch that you’ll encounter the mountain villages of Eido, Peso, and Coval, the Ramalhoso tin and tungsten mines, and a scenic overlook of the waters of Lake Marão. There are many points of interest. And walking the route is a true adventure, as the types of terrain you traverse are equally diverse: here you’ll encounter paths of ancient cobblestones, dirt roads, or forest trails—where you can glimpse groves of gorse and heather or conifers. Haylofts, mills, and rustic bridges also promise to delight the eyes of hikers on a route full of surprises.
